State Bank of India beat Income tax by a solitary goal in their final Group B game of the MFL Senior Division 2009-10 at the St. Xavier 's Ground, Parel. 

Hasan Rizvi's scored the winner in the 26th minute courtesy of a clinical penalty conversion into the bottom corner of the net. The margin of victory would have been bigger if not for the impressive contribution of Income Tax Keeper Neil D'Costa.

The game featured a host of experienced veterans in both teams.  

The win enables State Bank of India to qualify for the post season Play-offs after accumulating 19 points from their nine league games. For Income Tax, the defeat marked their seventh on the trot.
